New Historicism
Important New Historicists -- Stephen Grenblatt, Clifford Geertz, Louis Montrose, Catherine Gallagher, Jonathan Dollimore, and Jerome McCann. Michel Foucault is mentioned, but he is usually considered a post-structuralist.
